Our Price Change and the Halloween Sale

Our prices are about to go up, but first they're coming down.

A Little History

As some of you know, RPGNow.com recently increased its "Checkout Minimum" to $6.45. This means that unless you're purchasing at least $6.45 worth of product, you won't be able to complete your checkout. Their payment service fees (credit card and PayPal services aren't free to vendors) are eating up their profits, and they need to stay in business. At TGM, we understand their needs and don't have any complaints about the change, but it does put us in an unfortunate situation.

When we started this business, we decided that we'd try to produce 32-page PDFs for $5.00. The length was because that's a standard number of pages for a print signature, and the price was, in part, becayse RPGNow.com required $4.95 for checkout.

Well, now people can't simply purchase one of our books for the marked price--in order to check out, a customer has to buy two of our PDFs or find at least $1.45 of other companies' products they want. We've already had several people complain to us about this inconvenience.

The New Price

As it turns out, most of our PDFs are well over 32 pages anyway. At our original price/page, many of our products really should have been about $7.00, and we've actually priced and discounted some of our products to show this.

Considering our book length, our quality (our guys are all popular WotC authors), and the changes at RPGNow.com, we've decided to raise our standard PDF price to $6.60. All of our back catalog will be raised to that price as well.

The Sale

To soften the blow, we're having a sale. For a limited time (probably about 2 weeks--watch the main page for news), we'll be marking all our back-stock $5.00 PDFs down to $4.00, and all of our $10.00 PDFs to $8.00. When the sale's over, it'll be $6.60 and $12.00. So, buy any PDFs that you're missing while the price is low, 'cause it'll be heading even higher in the near future. You can start on our company page on RPGNow.com.

Thanks for your understanding, and for your support over the past couple of years. We look forward to bringing you more great d20 System products for years to come.
