Combat, Only Faster!
The ENnie Award-winning Initiative Cards from The Game Mechanics have been a
huge success, with thousands of downloads through RPGNow.com and The Game Mechanics website. Initiative
Cards make the task of keeping track of initiative in fantasy and modern d20 System
combats a breeze by providing a place for the Gamemaster to record all the
information about the player characters and their opponents that the GM
needs during play. They are an essential tool for tracking combat.
What our free Initiative Cards do for the GM during the game, Initiative Cards:
Monster Set 1 and Monster Set 2 do for the GM before the game. Monster Sets provide cards
with all of the necessary combat data for a vast array of monsters from the
SRD, from goblins and dire rats on up to tarrasques and titans. No longer will you have to scramble to
jot down that elder earth elemental's stats, attack routines, and special
abilities. We've done it for you--just pull out the card and you're ready to
go!
In addition to monsters actually found in the SRD, each set includes a selection of aged dragons. The staff Mechanics have created one of each true dragon and aged it through all twelve age categories, and we'll be sharing the full dragon stat blocks here as well, as free downloads. Monster Set 2 will also include the celestial and infernal creatures from the summoning tables in the PHB.
We think every GM should be using these handy little cards in their fantasy
d20 System campaigns. Even if you've already downloaded the free blank
